Version 2.1.0
Birds for every country
Pick your country in Settings and every new tab shows birds that live there. Choose from more than 250 countries and regions, or keep World, which is now the 500 most common birds on Earth. A new region downloads in the background while your current bird stays on screen.
Better offline support
BirdTab now keeps the next few birds ready, photos and sounds included, so a new tab still shows a bird when you're offline. If a photo or the range map can't load, you see a clear message instead of an empty page.
Instant first tab
A few birds now come with BirdTab itself, so your very first new tab appears right away instead of waiting for the bird list to download.
Meet the bird
A short tip now shows that clicking a bird's name opens its facts, conservation status and range map.
Keyboard and screen reader improvements
The quick menu works fully from the keyboard, shortcuts no longer fire while you're choosing a region, the controls stay available in narrow windows, and notifications are announced to screen readers.
