What a region list contains
A region list is every species with an accepted eBird record in that country, state or province, including rarities and a few escaped or introduced birds. That makes it complete, but long: most states have between 400 and 900 species. Use the family grouping to scan it, and remove the birds you will not meet before you print.
Where a region page shows birds reported in the last 30 days, that list is a better guide to what is around right now.
